Pearson gets early shot at head coaching job

Former Concordia women’s basketball player Mandy Pearson was recently hired to be the head coach at St. Mary’s in Winona, Minn.

Members of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, the Cardinals finished 7-18 last season.

Pearson, who was an assistant at Hamline the last two years following her graduation in 2005, was one of the best in the history of Cobber women’s basketball. She won the MIAC MVP in back-to-back seasons and finished with averages of 13.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game.

In my opinion, she’s probably the most creative player the team has had since I began covering the team in 2002.

At 5-foot-6, Pearson was able to drive the lane and score on wild looking scoop shots with great regularity. It was fun to watch.

No doubt she’ll bring the same intensity she played with to the St. Mary’s bench.

It’s understandable that money can make people independent. But how to act when somebody does not have money? The only one way is to receive the loan or financial loan.

Houses and cars are quite expensive and not everybody is able to buy it. But, loans are invented to aid different people in such kind of situations.
